To ensure that our RFID products will perform reliably in a wide variety of challenging applications, we established our Atlanta Technical Center (ATC). At this dedicated testing facility, we conduct rigorous end-to-end test processes, using real-world equipment and protocols. Our conveyor and portal set-ups simulate a range of environments to validate the design, manufacture and performance of the inlays we produce. To further evaluate tag performance, we conduct demanding parametric and read range tests. In our printer lab, we also test our tags for compatibility with well-known brands of printer/programmers and applicators.
But that's not all. Using our Test Cube -- an Avery Dennison innovation -- we conduct standardized far-field testing. In addition, our Sweet Spot tester -- another Avery Dennison innovation -- makes it possible for us to find the optimal position for an RFID tag on a carton.
